Last night we went to a real chinese hole in the wall. By real I mean, ducks hanging behind a display case, all chinese staff, small dining (about 10 tables small to medium tables) and excellent food. The place is called Sam Woo BBQ and they have a few locations in the Los Angeles area. I ordered the duck with fried rice and the Misses ordered the pan fried noodles with chicken. I haven't had duck in years and didn't know what to expect but it was delicious. The pan fried noodles were a hit as well. You also get free tea. The best part was the price, dinner for 2 plus tip, $18, what a deal! I recommend this place and will definitely be going back.

Baskin Robbins is celebrating its 70th anniversary and offering a scoop of ice cream for $1.31. A pretty good price considering their regular priced scoop of $2.79

I had the Turkey burger and the Famous star. The Turkey sandwich was not up to par but it wasn't bad. The Famous star was decent, although I remember a more flavorful taste in the past, I wonder if they have changed the recipe.
